Purpose of the Role To manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives and compliance with relevant regulators. Accountabilities Identify trends and opportunities to improve areas and develop new process and procedures through monitoring and analysis of operation data and performance metrics. Manage operations for a business area and promote efficient processes, risk management and compliance initiatives to support the bank's operations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including business leaders, project managers and SMEs) and external stakeholders (including vendors and service providers) to support business operations and promote alignment with the bank's objectives and SLAs. Manage operational professionals and provide guidance, coaching and support to improve colleagues' delivery quality. Manage and develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operation functions, utilising data and technology to support the identification of areas that require improvement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer experience. Create a safe environment for colleagues to speak up, encourage and solicit feedback to ensure people agenda remains focused on the right areas. Manage attrition by working closely with HR in implementing retention initiatives for workforce. Responsibilities Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalates breaches of policies/procedures. If managing a team, define jobs and responsibilities, plan future departmental needs and operations, counsel employees on performance, contribute to employee pay decisions/changes; lead specialists to influence operations in alignment with strategic and tactical priorities; balance short and long term goals; ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements. For an individual contributor, act as a subject matter expert within own discipline, guide technical direction, lead collaborative multi‐year assignments, guide team members through structured assignments, identify inclusion of other areas of specialization, train, guide and coach less experienced specialists, providing information affecting long term profits, organisational risks and strategic decisions. Advise key stakeholders including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross‐functional areas of impact and alignment. Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, supporting control and governance agenda. Recovery Operations Focus Monitor performance of third‐party Debt Collection Agencies and Legal Networks, ensuring outcomes align with business objectives and risk standards. Lead a team of Recovery professionals while building and maintaining effective supplier relationships to support sustainable performance and compliance. Qualifications and Key Skills Experience leading and developing teams within a recovery or collections environment. Excellent knowledge of Recovery processes, including strategy execution and oversight. Proven experience driving performance and accountability across third‐ and fourth‐party suppliers. Knowledge of legal and court processes related to recovery and collections. Working knowledge of NeuAnalytics or similar middleware platforms used for account placement execution. Solid controls background, with experience operating in a risk‐managed and regulated environment. Locations Wilmington, DE and Henderson, NV.
