Job description
NOTE: ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED!
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) , headed by the Comptroller General of the United States, was created by the Budget and Accounting Act of 1921. GAO is a legislative agency, independent of the executive departments.
