Job description

Part-Time Legal & Administrative Assistant (20 Hours per Week)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal & Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support across multiple business functions, including Human Resources, Legal, and Records Management. This role focuses on document management, records retention, filing, invoice processing, and general administrative support.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize records, files, and documentation in accordance with established procedures.
  • Support records retention and document management processes.
  • Assist with filing, invoice processing, and other administrative tasks.
  • Process administrative requests and work orders as needed.
  • Retrieve, organize, and maintain records and documents.
  • Ensure electronic and physical files are accurate, complete, and properly maintained.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and team members.
  • Learn and follow records management and document retention procedures.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Previous administrative, records management, document control, or office support experience.

Experience with records retention, file organization, and document management preferred.

Legal, compliance, or paralegal administrative experience is a plus but not required.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage confidential information professionally.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to learn new processes quickly, work independently, and manage multiple priorities
