We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Associate Dentist for a full-time position on our team at Hanson Family Dental.  This office has been providing care for patients in our community for 40 years and counting. We spend our days creating healthy and beautiful smiles for our friends, families, and neighbors, and we love every minute of it! We are passionate about helping our patients attain the smile of their dreams!
Hanson Family Dental is a privately owned office – NOT A DSO! We're growing! Brand new, state-of-the-art facility. About the owners: Dr. Russo is a general dentist who works full time while Dr. Lee, a board-certified surgical prosthodontist, who works part time at Hanson Family Dental. Both doctors are willing to mentor and give their support to the associate dentist. This mentorship is a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn from two highly-trained, experienced practice owners who are passionate about dentistry and eager to coach and collaborate.

About the position:
Hanson Family Dental offers an excellent work life balance. The hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am to 5pm. Tuesdays 8am to 6pm and Fridays 8am to 1pm. No weekends. The office is a single location. Full Time

Hanson and the surrounding communities are friendly and in need of dental care.
Hanson has the commuter rail which takes 45 minutes to Boston. It is also very close to Plymouth and Hanover.

Associate Dentist Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide quality and professional dental care to patients by completing oral examinations, diagnosing, and treating dental diseases
Conduct preventative and diagnostic dental treatments, such as prophylaxis (when needed) and oral cancer screenings
Perform dental procedures, such as fillings, veneers, crowns, bridges, dentures
Develop treatment plans and follow-up care to ensure the proper healing process
Educate and advise patients on proper oral care techniques and hygiene
Administer local anesthesia and prescribe antibiotics as needed for problem-focused exams and triage
Maintain patient records
Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure patients receive the best care
Maintain, clean, and sanitize dental equipment and instruments
Ensure a neat, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and team

Associate Dentist Requirements:
DMD or DDS Degree
Valid Massachusetts license to practice dentistry
Current liability/malpractice insurance
Working experience in dental practice and still willing to learn and grow their skills
Strong knowledge of dental issues, diseases, and conditions
The ability to utilize various dental equipment and instruments
Excellent communication skills
Great organization and time management
Attention to detail
Compassion and understanding
