6K Systems, Inc. is seeking a professional and experienced Senior Records Management Specialist to be assigned at the USAID Office, Washington, DC!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual must have demonstrated increasingly responsible and successful capabilities to analyze, understand, and accurately apply federal records management principals. They will coordinate the proper disposition of records consistent with Agency practices; assist with orientating and training agency staff on appropriate life-cycle records management processes; and serve as the first line of communication to agency staff for records management inquiries. They will also be responsible for assisting the Records Project Manager with analyzing and modifying procedures to address technical problems, responding to business or user needs, and creating a more efficient workflow. Additionally, they will also develop metrics for the Agency's records management program and ensure sound information governance and accountability measures are in place. This individual will also provide guidance/training for less-experienced records management specialists.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working in a federal records management environment
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be articulate, knowledgeable, and professional
  • Must have the ability to lift 35 pounds
