About Hope Ranch Learning Academy: Hope Ranch Learning Academy is a private Christian school in Hudson, Florida, beautifully set on a horse ranch. For over 20 years, we have dedicated ourselves to serving the unique needs of students with Autism and other unique abilities. As a rapidly growing institution, we are seeking vibrant, innovative, and experienced Middle School Instructional Assistants to support our middle school students.
Position Overview: As an Instructional Assistant at Hope Ranch Learning Academy, you will play a vital role in assisting classroom instruction, supporting the Lead Teacher, and nurturing the growth of our students. Our classrooms are intentionally small, with no more than 16 students, to provide individualized attention and support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Assistance: Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans, ensuring they are creative, engaging, and tailored to both class and individual needs.
  • Individualized Support: Provide personalized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them maximize their potential.
  • Student Supervision: Supervise students during various school activities, including lunch, recess, and school outings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Behavior Management: Assist in managing student behavior, maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Teacher, school administration, and special education staff to implement effective academic support plans.
  • Record Keeping: Help maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance, and contribute to progress monitoring.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's Degree (REQUIRED).

  • Christian School Environment: Comfortable participating in a Christian private school setting.
  • Additional Requirements: Current and valid driver's license, experience in classroom management and behavior modification techniques, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Compliance: Must be able to provide proof of degree(s) and/or certification(s) and pass a Level 2 Background Clearance.
