Job description

Who We Are Looking For:
Are you the Medical Records/Transportation Secretary we have been looking for? In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with youth that we serve!
Cohannet Academy is an Intensive Residential Treatment Program for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Cohannet provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.
Schedule: 32 hrs per week
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $25.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
In this role, you will:
  • Organize and file the medical records system, which includes electronic and paper.
  • A monthly audit of the medical records system.
  • Data entry for internal and external organizations. (JRI/DMH/DESE)
  • Assist the HR rep with projects, like filing/ organizing training materials/ mail
  • Assist the nursing and clinical department with client transportation

Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Associates in human services preferred
  • 1 -2 years experience with children/ adolescents.
  • Residential and/or inpatient experience required.
  • Maintains valid driver's license as transporting youth that we serve is required.
  • Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
  • At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for youth that we serve!
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
