Job description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for picking orders as the invoices are printed and setting part(s) at each route staging area. You will also be responsible for unloading inbound deliveries and putting them away in bin locations after inbound has been checked in and locations are written for each part.  

Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $18 per hour based on experience.

Hours:

The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm.

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include: 

  • Receive, inspect, and stock inbound products following FIFO and Dock-to-Stock practices.
  • Pick, stage, and load orders accurately for delivery.
  • Process returns, resolve bin/part variances, and manage exception items.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory tasks, and support annual physical inventory.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Cross-train for other roles within the warehouse to maximize the efficiency of the team.  
  • Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision.  

Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.  
  • Consistent work history and attendance record.  
  • Reliable transportation.  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  
  • Forklift, part picker, and powered pallet jack experience is preferred.  
  • Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements.

Warehouse Associate Working Conditions and Physical Demands include: 

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally.  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.  
  • Must be okay with walking and standing for extended periods.Â
