Job Description: Job Description – Coach (Part-Time)Classification: Non-Exempt Management Level: N/A Reports to: Head Coach Summary/Objective The Coach is responsible for delivering scientifically designed Orangetheory Fitness workouts within OT Group Holdings, LLC studios while creating a high-energy, motivating, and results-driven member experience. This role requires the ability to effectively coach and engage multiple members in a group fitness setting while maintaining strong time management, communication, and motivational skills. The Coach confidently represents the Orangetheory Fitness brand by delivering exceptional coaching experiences, fostering meaningful member relationships, and supporting member retention and engagement. This role partners closely with the studio team to contribute to sales and retention goals, maintain a welcoming and inclusive studio environment, and ensure a seamless member experience before, during, and after classes. The Coach must possess a well-rounded understanding of fitness principles, including endurance, strength, and power training, and effectively utilize Orangetheory programming, technology, and coaching tools to optimize member performance, safety, and results. Responsibilities are performed both at the front desk and throughout the studio floor, requiring extended periods of standing, walking, and engaging with others in a dynamic, high-energy setting. The environment may include moderate to loud noise levels due to music and group fitness classes. The role also includes administrative tasks such as working on a computer, using phones (communication with internal and external customers), and other standard office equipment. Occasional participation in offsite events or community activities may be required.Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. This position requires frequent standing, walking, and moving throughout the studio, as well as regular interaction with members and team members. The role may occasionally require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling items such as retail products or supplies (up to approximately 25–30 pounds), as well as bending, reaching, and light cleaning tasks to maintain the studio environment.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a part-time position. Flexible schedule as needed, including weekends and holidays.
