Lotus Concepts Management is a growing hospitality management company overseeing a diverse portfolio of restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, and commercial real estate throughout Colorado. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting team at our Denver Home Office.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same. The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, preparing financial reports, and assisting with the accounting functions across multiple operating companies.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain accurate journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
  • Review financial statements and investigate account variances
  • Prepare supporting schedules and financial reports
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Record and reconcile fixed assets and depreciation schedules
  • Prepare sales tax and other business tax filings as required
  • Work closely with Accounts Payable, Payroll, Operations, and Property Management teams
  • Assist with annual audits and provide requested documentation
  • Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls
  • Support special projects and company growth initiatives
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and accuracy in all financial reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience
  • QuickBooks experience is required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred
  • Hospitality or restaurant accounting experience is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
