Title: Volunteer Food Product Developer / Recipe Creator โ€“ Mission-Driven Brand

Organization: LoopRoots Foundation

Location: Remote (with occasional local tasting/testing if needed)

Type: Volunteer, 30 hours/week

Description:

LoopRoots Foundation is launching a line of mission-driven food products designed to give back to our community. Every product sold supports families in need. We're seeking a creative and dedicated volunteer Food Product Developer to help bring our vision to life.

This is a unique opportunity to craft recipes, design packaging, and help build a product line that is both delicious and impactfulโ€”while contributing directly to a nonprofit mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine recipes for flagship items: burgers, hot dogs, condiments, and more.
  • Conduct taste tests and adjust recipes for quality and scalability.
  • Collaborate on packaging design to clearly communicate the mission and impact.
  • Advise on food safety, storage, and shelf-life considerations.
  • Coordinate with local co-packers or commercial kitchens for small-batch production.

Qualifications:
