Job description


The Health Spa Receptionist greets guests and assists with the check-in process. In addition, answers phone calls and manages the spa's schedule. It's your job to make sure guests have an extraordinary experience while at the spa, starting from when they walk in the door until they exit the premises.
Hourly Rate: $15 hourly plus commission
Responsibilities
  • Greet guests up arrival
  • Assist guests with completion of paperwork
  • Check in guests
  • Check out guests
  • Answer phones
  • Input appointments and manage Book 4 Time
  • Keep reception area clean and organized
  • Work closely with spa attendants
  • Check locker rooms to make sure clean and stocked
  • Walk the spa area hourly checking for unwanted guests and cleanliness
  • Make Manager and Director aware of any supplies needed
  • Assist Spa Team Members with anything they need (e.g. champagne, towels, product)
  • Ensure guests are having an extraordinary experience

Qualifications
  • Great customer service skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Seldom lifting of up to 20 lbs.
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, and bending

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech - both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
