Overview
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Van Driver/Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be tasked with transporting passengers safely and efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer service throughout the journey. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with passengers.

Duties

  • Safely operate a van or shuttle vehicle to transport passengers to designated locations.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring passenger safety.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility challenges.
  • Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle by performing routine inspections and reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking from vehicle, particularly those with mobility challenges.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers to receive instructions for routes and schedules.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts, mileage and any incidents that may occur during transport.

Skills

  • Previous experience as a Van Driver or in similar roles such as School Bus Driving, Limousine services, Delivery Driving, or Shuttle Driving is a plus.
  • Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact positively with passengers and team members.
