The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, located in Sherwood, OR, is responsible for overseeing all inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and efficient movement of materials. This role leads warehouse personnel, maintains inventory accuracy, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Supervise daily shipping and receiving operations, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow coordination
  • Ensure accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming materials
  • Oversee order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper tracking, cycle counts, and system updates
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and customer service teams to align material flow with business needs
  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards
  • Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff to promote productivity and continuous improvement
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as shipping accuracy, on-time delivery, and inventory discrepancies
  • Resolve issues related to damaged goods, shipment delays, or discrepancies
