Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to a diverse inpatient rehab population including neuro, CVA, TBI, spinal cord injuries, and post-surgical cases

  • Manage patient ratios of 1:5-7, ensuring safe and efficient care delivery

  • Perform wound care, dressing changes, wound vac management, and drain care

  • Assist with PEG tube care, tube feeding, ostomy care, and bowel/bladder programs

  • Support patients with mobility challenges, braces, and splints

  • Administer medications, including IV antibiotics (no drips required)

  • Monitor and maintain peripheral IVs

  • Collaborate closely with RNs, CNAs, RTs, and Physicians for coordinated care

  • Document all care in the EPIC EMR system

Requirements
  • Active LPN License (Georgia)

  • BLS Certification (required)

  • NIHSS (required)

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Med-Surg or Inpatient Rehab

  • Strong familiarity with neuro and rehab patient populations

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
