What are Real Estate Temps?

Real Estate Temps are temporary workers who assist real estate offices or agencies with various tasks, such as administrative work, data entry, appointment scheduling, customer service, or supporting agents during busy periods. These professionals often fill in for regular staff who are on leave or help handle seasonal spikes in workload. Real Estate Temps may work for staffing agencies or directly for real estate firms, and their assignments can last from a few days to several months. This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility or experience in the real estate industry.

As a Real Estate Temp, you may be asked to handle a range of administrative tasks such as managing phone calls, scheduling property showings, preparing documents, updating listings, and assisting with data entry. Because you’ll often work with different teams and adapt to various office procedures, flexibility and quick learning are key. Being proactive about asking questions and familiarizing yourself with common real estate software like MLS systems or CRM tools can help you quickly become an asset in any assignment.
