Job description

A well-established real estate development firm in Somerset County, New Jersey, with a growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties, is seeking a motivated entry-level Real Estate Attorney to join our legal and professional team.

Our firm is involved in all facets of real estate development, including land acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, financing, construction, and development. Having successfully developed thousands of homes and apartments, we offer an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced legal, development, and real estate professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to build a long-term career in real estate development and construction. The successful candidate will work closely with our legal and professional staff and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of real estate development matters.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice law in New Jersey
  • 3–5 years of experience preferred in real estate, construction, or a related practice area
  • Experience with real estate transactions and contracts
  • Familiarity with land acquisition and development entitlements
  • Experience assisting with real estate closings and loan transactions
  • Familiarity working with banks, lenders, and other financial institutions
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
