What is a real estate appraisal trainee?

Real Estate Appraisal Trainees are entry-level professionals who work under the supervision of a licensed appraiser to learn how to estimate the value of properties. They assist with gathering data, inspecting properties, and preparing reports while gaining the experience required to become a licensed or certified appraiser. Trainees typically must complete specific education requirements and log a certain number of supervised hours before advancing to a higher credential. This role is essential for gaining practical skills and industry knowledge in real estate valuation.

What kind of mentorship and supervision can I expect as a real estate appraisal trainee?
