Job description

Get in the game behind the scenes!

Athletic Staff Assistants hustle, support, and keep the action moving!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Get courts and fields "game-ready" - set up, mark lines, and keep equipment in tip-top shape.
  • Keep our spaces running like a well-coached team - clean, organized, and ready for action.
  • Jump in to assist with field maintenance, event setups, and schedule playbooks.
  • Lead practices and games in the winter - make safety, fun, and fair play a slam dunk.
  • Coach part-time staff, volunteers, and participants - help everyone stay in the zone.
  • Call a game or two, manage tournaments, and keep the action moving from whistle to whistle.

REQUIREMENTS:  

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) plus at least three months of hands-on experience in a sports, recreation, or activity setting, or any mix of education, training, or experience that gets you game-ready for this role.

SALARY: 

  • Pay Grade 20; $14.65 per hour

WORK HOURS: 

  • 35 hrs. a week; weekend work required
