Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies for each client, ensuring a personalized approach to mental health care.
• Provide individual therapy sessions and group counseling based on evidence-supported therapeutic interventions, utilizing methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated client care, coordinating services and resources to meet comprehensive mental health needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in all client interactions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to enhance your skills and stay abreast of current mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals and families who face various mental health issues, particularly those lacking access to traditional therapeutic services. Your insights and support will directly impact clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, fostering resilience and sustainable mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas is essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in family therapy, couples counseling, substance abuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and other related technologies is beneficial.
• Demonstrated capability to collaborate within a healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $70,000 – $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
