Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to deliver therapeutic interventions to groups, families, couples, and individuals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, sharing insights and strategies to provide comprehensive care that maximizes patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and current clinical records, ensuring compliance with state regulations, ethical guidelines, and best practices in mental health documentation.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and training sessions to remain informed about the latest research and advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is required, demonstrating the ability to operate effectively in a therapeutic setting.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with diverse client groups.
• Experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma-informed care is highly favorable.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual compensation for this role ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
