Performs various diagnostic cardiology or peripheral vascular exams. 

High quality diagnostic cardiac and/or vascular imaging procedures. Maintains accurate
documentation of results and reports to physicians as directed.

Minimum Qualifications


Required Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or
equivalent clinical job training.


Required Licensure and Certifications


Minimum of one registry in either: - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS): â–Ş Adult Cardiac Sonography (RDCS-AE) â–Ş Vascular Technology (RVT) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): â–Ş Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) â–Ş Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Graduates of an accredited sonography program who meet criteria
for the registry exam are eligible for hire. An RDCS, RVT, RCS, or
RVS credential must be obtained within 12 months of hire date. - AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.

Where You'll Work

Established by the Sisters of the St. Francis in 1924, CHI Health Good Samaritan is a 268-bed regional referral center in Kearney, Neb. At CHI Health Good Samaritan, you’ll find an advanced level trauma center that also offers AirCare emergency helicopter transport and an ambulance program providing long distance and local 911 service. Among our many other services are cardiac care including open-heart surgery, a level II neonatal intensive care unit, a nationally accredited cancer center, comprehensive neurosurgery, advanced orthopedic program, and inpatient and outpatient mental health services at our free-standing Richard Young Behavioral Health facility.
