JOB SUMMARY:

This position provides administrative and operational support to the Revenue Cycle Management team. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations by assisting with scheduling, documentation, reporting, and communication between internal departments.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage calendars and schedule meetings for RCM leadership and team members.

2. Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items to ensure timely execution.

3. Assist in maintaining RCM policies, procedures, and training materials for compliance and operational efficiency.

4. Serve as a liaison between RCM team members and leadership to support process improvement project implementations.

5. Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, action logs, scope changes, and post-project evaluations.

6. Provide administrative support for revenue cycle management efforts, including report preparation and data tracking.

7. Manage payer portal access by maintaining and updating user credentials ensuring secure and uninterrupted access for the revenue cycle team.

8. Assist the RCM team in monitoring portal functionality and reporting any identified issues promptly.

9. Review, categorize, and ensure accurate and timely distribution of incoming faxes to the appropriate department or stakeholders.

10. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and organizational standards.

11. Perform other duties as assigned by RCM Leadership to support departmental goals.


JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of administrative experience required; experience in health care

or revenue cycle management preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to build stakeholder engagement and drive action.

• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and/or electronic health care record software system preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
