We are seeking a Senior Systems Integration Designer to join our Indianapolis (Carmel, IN) or Raleigh, NC studio. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced low-voltage systems professional to serve as a subject matter expert on highly technical projects. What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to client leadership, translating complex business needs into technical requirements, managing expectations and facilitating meetings.
  • Lead project visioning, design option evaluation, and long-term technology planning aligned with client goals.
  • Develop detailed technical designs and system architecture for complex enterprise low-voltage systems, including communications, security and audiovisual.
  • Promote adoption of modern technologies based on research-driven data and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless integration of systems, drawings and specifications.
  • Review cost estimates, provide contractor feedback, and support quality assurance through site surveys and field inspections.
  • Contribute to project planning, workplans, and fee development while ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Maintain active certifications and stay current with evolving technologies/industry trends through ongoing professional development.

Education and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of low-voltage systems design experience. Experience with healthcare, higher education and/or lab design is a plus.
  • Licenses/Certifications: BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) is required; InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS, CTS-D) is a plus.
  • Computer Programs: Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel; familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint preferred. Revit experience is a plus.
