Job Summary:The Franchisee Onboarding Partner is responsible for assisting all new franchisees with their New Restaurant Opening or Acquisition. Firehouse Subs is one of the fastest growing brands in North America and new franchisees are a core part of the strategy. Day-to-day involves coordinating new franchisee training and the opening training of their first restaurant. The Franchisee Onboarding Partner works closely with Firehouse Subs franchise owners' leadership teams to help guide them through the process and ensure that they are ready and prepared for their restaurant opening. The Franchisee Onboarding Partner is also responsible for ensuring that franchisees operate within Firehouse Subs standards and policies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for partnering with new franchisees and their teams to assist with their onboarding and guide them through the restaurant training and opening process.

  • Responsible for coordinating and scheduling the new franchisees training through a CTR (Certified Training Restaurant)

  • Responsible for the follow-up of both the training franchisee, as well at the CTM (Certified Trainer Manager)

  • Must be able to travel to help facilitate the pre-opening "Boots on the ground" training for the team members and staff prior to the opening.

  • Consult with, advise, and provide support to franchisees by being the brand liaison, connecting them with vendors and other brand departments to ensure that they meet their deadlines.

  • Develop effective professional relationships with the franchisees, their team members, and management team, to enable a productive and efficient pre-opening training.

  • Develop effective professional relationships with FBP's (Franchise Business Partner) to enable a great support system for the onboarding and training of the new franchisee.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of operations experience in QSR, retail, food & beverage, or similar industry

  • Strength in building and developing relationships with clients, colleagues, business partners.

  • Skilled in root-cause problem solving methodologies.

  • Ability to present operational information both orally and written (PowerPoint)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
