Job description

Now Hiring: Full-Time Donut & Pastry Maker

Location: Pearl City, Hawaii
Pay: $18/hour - Weekly Pay
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Full-Time (Monday–Saturday Availability Preferred)

Are you someone who works well with your hands, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in quality and consistency? Do you want to be part of a behind-the-scenes team that plays a major role in keeping Oahu's food service industry running?

We're looking for dependable individuals to join our industrial wholesale bakery operation in Pearl City. You'll help create and package high-volume baked goods - donuts, pastries, cakes, and breads - for delivery to restaurants, cafes, hotels, and retailers across the island.

This is not a retail bakery. You won't be decorating cupcakes for a display case - you'll be part of a production team making food that feeds Oahu daily.

What You'll Be Doing:

This position combines hands-on baking with physical labor and production support. You'll be trained and trusted to:

  • Mix, portion, shape, and prepare doughs and batters for donuts, pastries, and specialty baked goods

  • Operate fryers and ovens to cook and finish high-quality products

  • Assist with daily packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for delivery

  • Track production batches and follow recipe measurements to exact specifications

  • Rotate between tasks while maintaining focus and urgency in a team environment

  • Clean and maintain your station and equipment to meet safety and sanitation standards

  • Lift and move ingredients, trays, and products (up to 50 lbs regularly)

  • Stand for long periods, bend, reach, and move quickly during your shift

  • Work in a hot kitchen environment with ovens, fryers, and mixers

This is a physically demanding job and best suited for someone who enjoys active, repetitive work and being part of a reliable production team.

Requirements:
  • Must have reliable transportation to Pearl City

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand, and move for the entire shift

  • A strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask under pressure

  • Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn

  • Prior kitchen, bakery, or production experience is helpful - but not required

  • Punctuality and consistency - we rely on each other every day

  • Must be open to working occasional Saturdays, depending on production needs

What We Offer:
  • $18/hour starting wage - paid weekly via direct deposit

  • Stable full-time hours, no late nights or unpredictable shifts

  • Training provided - learn commercial bakery skills and production processes

  • Be part of a tight-knit team that takes pride in every order

  • Gain long-term experience in one of Hawaii's essential industries

  • Opportunity for growth into more advanced production or supervisor roles
