Job description

Razor is seeking an IT Platform Infrastructure Engineer to support software, platform, security, and system integration efforts for new system requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the rollout of new software patches and baselines by ensuring system environments are properly configured in both test and operational settings. This position plays a critical role in maintaining system health, integration, and operational readiness. Education & Certification Requirements • Security certification such as Security or CISSP. Clearance Requirements * Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. * Ability to obtain a CI Polygraph. * U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Hybrid Requirements • This is a Hybrid/Remote position located in Ft Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities • Facilitate system integration efforts, including upgrading and managing virtual computer systems. • Generate and evaluate alternative solution concepts and system architectures. • Ensure reliable data flow by running system health checks to detect underlying system issues early. • Integrate multiple system disciplines including networking, architecture, systems, software, and administration to support platform integration initiatives. • Manage VMware ESXi virtualized platforms running Red Hat Enterprise Linux. • Manage NetApp Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Storage Area Network (SAN) systems. • Collaborate with software engineers and system administrators to identify and troubleshoot issues. • Investigate data anomalies and server or file-system issues. • Troubleshoot issues identified during regression testing and provide feedback to software engineers for resolution. Qualifications • Security certification such as Security or CISSP. • Experience with system vulnerability detection and remediation. • Experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. • Experience managing VMware ESXi environments. • Experience with NetApp NAS and SAN technologies. • Advanced troubleshooting experience. • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly. • U.S. citizenship. Desired Skills • Experience with cross-domain solutions, including High-Speed Guards (HSGs). • Experience with shell scripting and Perl scripting. • Experience producing detailed technical documentation. • Working knowledge of Postgres and Mongo database concepts. • Understanding of LDAP application protocols. • Understanding of network principles and protocols. • Understanding of security and cyber appliances and protocols. • Knowledge of TCP/IP and file transfer protocols such as FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and HTTPS. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team under pressure and meet strict schedule requirements.
