Bookkeeping Specialist (5-7+ Years of Experience)

Raven A. Herron & Company, P.C. is seeking a US based, experienced Bookkeeping Specialist who enjoys diving into the details, solving financial puzzles, and building trusted relationships with clients. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals with 5-7+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience who are ready to take ownership of client accounts while continuing to grow their expertise. This is an in-office, hybrid or remote based role.


Why This Role?

We're looking for someone based in the US who is more than a data entry bookkeeper. You'll work closely with clients, identify discrepancies, recommend solutions, and play an active role in improving financial processes. Ideal Experience Level

Best suited for candidates with:

  • 5-7+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or client accounting services experience
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • QuickBooks Online experience (Certification preferred)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team environment
What You'll Do

As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you'll manage accounting and bookkeeping functions for a variety of clients, including:

  • Assisting with payroll processes and oversight

  • Identifying opportunities to improve bookkeeping workflows and procedures
  • Mentoring less experienced team members and assisting with onboarding efforts
