Bookkeeping Specialist (5-7+ Years of Experience)

Raven A. Herron & Company, P.C. is seeking a US based, experienced Bookkeeping Specialist who enjoys diving into the details, solving financial puzzles, and building trusted relationships with clients. This is an excellent opportunity for accounting professionals with 5-7+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience who are ready to take ownership of client accounts while continuing to grow their expertise. This is an in-office, hybrid or remote based role.


Why This Role?

We're looking for someone based in the US who is more than a data entry bookkeeper. You'll work closely with clients, identify discrepancies, recommend solutions, and play an active role in improving financial processes. If you enjoy variety, client interaction, and taking responsibility for your work, we'd love to meet you.


Ideal Experience Level

Best suited for candidates with:

  • 5-7+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, or client accounting services experience
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • QuickBooks Online experience (Certification preferred)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team environment
What You'll Do

As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you'll manage accounting and bookkeeping functions for a variety of clients, including:
