Job Description and Specific Skills Needed for This Position

1) This employee is responsible for entering data from Hepatitis Risk Assessments forms received by the Viral Hepatitis and Outbreak Response Section. 2) This employee will enter this information into the Surveillance Tools and Reporting System (STARS) system. 3) The incumbent handles protected health information on a need to know basis following Department of Health, HIPPA and Information Security Policy Protocols and Procedures. 4) This employee abides by State/Federal laws governing health information. 5) Completes Timesheets weekly and submit them for approval.
