As an off duty police officer employed by the Texas Rangers and working at Choctaw Stadium and/or Globe Life Field, the police officer will be held to the Standards of the Arlington Police Department as well as those of the Texas Rangers Organization. Failure to comply with any of the rules set forth will be grounds for termination of employment in this capacity. While working for the Texas Rangers Organization , the police officer will be professional, courteous and helpful and will be expected to perform the following duties:
  • Maintain a constant presence in and around the footprint of the venue to deter crime
  • Respond to calls for police service and protect life and property through the enforcement of laws
  • Maintain public order and safety
  • Remain vigilant regarding potential hazards or problems which could cause harm to the public, participants and staff
  • All other duties as assigned
