Job description

Position: Guard

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Security Guard some duties include securing premises, patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and writing reports detailing any occurrences during your shift.


JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lock doors and gates of entrances and exits to secure
  2. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
  3. Patrol should be conducted every hour while on site
  4. Write detail reports of any occurrences during your
  5. Patrol premises to prevent any unauthorized personnel and ensure security of doors, windows, and
  6. Call police or fire department in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized
  7. The booth light should be always on while the employee is on

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Desired Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 3 years of related security experience required
  • Active AK Guard License
  • Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations
