Job description

The Dupuy Group is looking to hire a Customer Service Representative for the Houston office.

The primary responsibility of the CSR is the coordinating the import and export of containers as they arrive by ship, truck, van, or rail. Customer Service Representatives must be knowledgeable of the various types of foods and other materials imported into the warehouse, starting with the receipt of coffee, storage, possible upgrading processes, and shipping to the customer. 

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinating weekly schedules with warehouse, trucking, and office
  • Work within a system to create inbound and outbound orders, along with other various types of services
  • Service customers with their needs and be able to resolve problems through email or over the phone in a timely manner.
  • Work independently and as a team member
  • Coordinate shipping between dispatcher and warehouse schedule
  • Keeping up to date with invoicing customers and organizing records
  • Monitoring email consistently throughout the day and responding promptly
  • Assist with training new hires on team as needed (equipment, software, processes, etc.)

What are the qualifications? 

  • High School Diploma/Equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience in office administration; experience working in logistics preferred
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Understanding of basic office applications including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Office 365, PowerPoint)
