Job description

Rail Site Coordination Supervisor, Beaumont TX

RSI Logistics, recently acquired by Trinity Industries Inc., is looking for a Rail Site Coordination Supervisor in Beaumont, TX. The Rail Site Coordination Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of site operations. This role involves managing a team of coordinators, tracking inventory, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

What You'll Do:

  • Supervise and lead a team of rail coordinators
  • Develop and implement strategies for site operations management
  • Maintain adherence to SLA standards and manage reporting for KPIs, SLAs, and Stewardship initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with Site Operations, Supply Chain Operations, and Maintenance Operations to optimize processes
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement to include identifying trends and root causes, developing coordinator problem solving skills and creating efficiencies and cost savings
  • Provide oversight for daily transactions ensuring daily requirements are met
  • Lead recurring process reviews to ensure no gaps
  • Take a leading role in quarterly stewardship meetings, guiding discussions on incidents, KPIs, recognition, and other key topics
  • Run integrated meetings with multiple functional representation
  • Ensure good working relationships are developed and maintained with local rail crews

Qualifications What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, rail logistics, or related operations, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field (preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with strong team-building and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in logistics platforms (e.g., SAP, RailTrac, Bourque) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines despite delays or disruptions
  • Strong attention to detail in high stakes operations environment
