Job description

We are seeking a motivated team player to join ourย Sanford, NCย team. Ourย Operator of Blending/Loading IIย  is responsible for but not limited to loading, shipping finished product by truck, rail, blending lube oils, inspecting shipping containers, and preparing and reviewing all paperwork for bulk shipments of lube oil products to ship domestic and international. Must follow railroad and DOT regulations.ย 

Wage:$19-22hr DOE

What does it take to work at Noble Oil?

  • High School or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of railcar, tanker loading, blending, or filling preferred
  • 1 to 3 years' experience in a production driven environment
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Computer Skills, attention to detail, ability to count and read, time managementย 
  • Must be able to communication and work with a teamย 
  • Mechanically inclined a plus!
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs, work at heights, climb and stand for long periods of time
  • Work in all weather conditions

  • Ensures safety is the number one priority at all times and follows all Health & Safety procedures to ensure the safety of themselves and others around them
  • Inspects shipping containers and tankers for suitability to load finished products
  • Inspects railcars and tankers to meet the requirements of Railroad and D.O.T.ย 
  • Reviews shipping paperwork for product to be loaded
  • Prepares paperwork for shipment, filing and processing
  • Calculates gallons and other calculations as needed
  • Loads requested products and volumes indicated on paperwork into trailers and railcars
  • Organizes and maintains truck and rail loading areas
  • Transfers additives to and from various containers
  • Will transfer loads from one location to another location a short distance away
  • Prepares samples of finished products and submits to Lab for approval to transfer and or load for shipment to customers
