PRS Auto is growing, and we are excited to welcome a Rail Terminal Supervisor of Operations to our close-knit team supporting operations at the rail-served vehicle distribution facility near the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville, KY. LOCATION:
Louisville, Kentucky (Westport Road / Ford Truck Plant area).
THE ROLE:
As a Rail Terminal Supervisor of Operations, you will oversee daily terminal activity, including the loading / unloading of newly built Ford vehicles onto railcars and coordination of railcar handling and readiness activities.
You will be a hands-on leader responsible for safety, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction, while guiding your team and keeping operations running smoothly within a high-volume automotive shipping environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Coordinate and schedule daily vehicle loading/unloading operations onto autorack railcars.
  • Oversee railcar placement, readiness, and general railcar handling activities.
  • Lead, support, and motivate your team while monitoring productivity and performance.
  • Ensure all safety standards and procedures are followed consistently.
  • Communicate with customers and partners to support vehicle flow and railcar availability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and vehicle security.
  • Assign daily duties and manage staffing levels.
  • Work closely with terminal leadership to improve operational efficiency and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE:
  • $20-$25 per hour (Commensurate with experience).
  • Full-time position (approximately 40 hours per week with some overtime available).
  • Various shift times available – primarily day shift operations.
