Job description

Job Summary: The MARSOC SERE PTOC Personnel support the Marine Raider Training Center’s (MRTC) Full Spectrum Level C Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training course. The PTOC personnel provide episodic support for SERE training including indirect/non-instructional training and role-player support, logistics, transportation, and other course support activities to assist and enable program training objectives. Personnel may work up to 12 hour shifts and non-standard schedules (nights, weekends, etc.) in austere conditions including indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
  • Presence/Support during Survival and Evasion exercise to provide logistical, administrative and indirect role-play support
  • Presence/Support during Resistance training providing logistical, administrative and indirect role-play support
  • Presence/Support during administrative activities such as general clean-up, rental vehicle pick up / returns etc.
  • PTOCs shall not become directly involved in student, individual or group training and will always work under the supervision of MARFORSOC PR/SERE Instructor Staff
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Must have a valid class “C” driver’s license
  • Meet instructor OF-178 physical requirements
  • SECRET clearance
Required Background Check: Drug Screen, Criminal background, SECRET clearance
