Position Description
As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Set up and operate 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines according to instructions and engineering drawings
- Change tools and make offset adjustments
- Interpret blueprint dimensions
- Understand and follow machining policies and instructions (MI),QSR, ISO, SOP's work rules and safety guidelines
- Meet schedules and maintain quality standards
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- A minimum of 3-5 years work experience related to the set-up and operation of CNC milling machines
- Experience interpreting blueprint dimensions and using measuring tools
- Working knowledge of MI's, QSR, ISO, SOP's, work rules and safety guidelines
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Experience with Makino, HAAS, and DMG milling machines is a plus
Having their own tools is a plus (precision and hand tools)

The base compensation range for this role is $20 - $33 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
