Job Description

A Look Into Working in the Front Office

This role is responsible for ensuring seamless overnight or end-of-day hotel operations, including reporting, guest services, and cross-departmental coordination. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented especially with numbers, and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while upholding Radisson and GHG standards.

Pay rate is based on experience, with performance-based raises and monthly bonus incentives.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Reconcile and close hotel business day operations

  • Balance and verify paperwork from front office, retail outlets, and restaurants

  • Prepare accurate reports for the next business day

  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in person, via phone, and email

  • Address billing discrepancies and disputes confidently and professional

  • Offer personalized recommendations and information about hotel services, local attractions, and events

  • Upsell hotel products and services to enhance guest experience

  • Create positive, memorable guest interactions and resolve complaints with empathy and within policy

  • Work independently during minimal-staff shifts with sound judgment and discretion

  • Adapt quickly between tasks and responsibilities across departments

  • Communicate effectively with Finance, Leadership, and other departments regarding notes, discrepancies, and operational issues

  • Understand and support team and organizational goals

  • Execute daily shift processes in line with established SOPs

  • Stay current with evolving procedures and operational updates

  • Maintain knowledge of front office systems and operational platforms

  • Represent and uphold Radisson and GHG brand standards at all times

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned or deemed necessary by management

What You Need for this Position
  • Previous Night Audit experience preferred but not required

  • Numbers oriented preferred, but not required

  • Able to work weekends and Holidays; schedule based off of hotel needs

  • Driven by purpose, mission, values, and has sense of integrity

  • Able to work closely with staff through strong communication and verbal skills

  • Positivity and flexibility in an ever changing environment

  • Able to be coached

  • Organized, able to multitask and balance many projects at once

  • Able to problem solve on the spot and make prompt but thoughtful decisions

  • Posses efficient typing skills

  • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more

  • Able to stoop and bend

  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time

  • Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment

  • Able to comply with safety and health code standards

  • Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks

  • Experience with Opera or a Rooms Management system is a plus, but not required
