We Are Hiring

Location:  Kokomo, IN

Facility:  St. Vincent Hospital 

Department/Specialty:  General Radiology

Schedule:  PRN | Rotating | Monday-Sunday variable shifts

What You Will Do
  • Administered contrast media and clinical medications in strict accordance with state and federal regulations, ensuring 100% adherence to scope-of-practice standards.

  • Directed the end-to-end lifecycle of diagnostic documentation, guaranteeing the precision of patient data, lead markers, and high-resolution image submission to PACS.

  • Spearheaded departmental radiation safety protocols to eliminate unnecessary exposure through the expert application of anatomic parameters and ALARA principles.

  • Monitored real-time patient status during complex procedures, providing critical clinical feedback to refine departmental protocols and enhance diagnostic accuracy.

  • Ensured peak equipment reliability through proactive troubleshooting and the execution of "lock-out/tag-out" safety procedures to mitigate departmental risk and downtime.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
