Torch Technologies Inc., is seeking a highly experienced Senior Radar Systems Engineer/Analyst to support the modeling, integration, and analysis of radar systems for Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) missions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radar systems engineering, signal processing, and data analysis, with a focus on C-RAM or C-UAS applications. The successful candidate will have experience with weapon system integration and data analysis and Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the modeling & simulation, data analysis, and integration activities for radar systems to support system evaluation.
  • Analyze and optimize radar system performance, including signal processing, data analysis, and system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate radar systems with other sensors and systems to achieve C-UAS mission objectives.
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate radar system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers and analysts on radar systems engineering and analysis tasks.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in radar systems, signal processing, and data analysis, staying current with industry trends and advancements.
  • Collaborate with government customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions to meet C-UAS mission needs.

Requirements:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 8 + years of experience in radar systems engineering, signal processing, and data analysis, with a focus on C-RAM and C-UAS applications.
  • Experience working with KuRFS, Sentinel, Q-53, and Q-50 radar systems, or similar radar systems.
  • Strong understanding of radar system design, development, and testing, including signal processing, data analysis, and system integration.
  • Experience with C-RAM and C-UAS mission requirements and systems, including integration with other sensors and systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop solutions to technical problems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and government customers.
  • The position requires that candidate hold a secret level security clearance to access classified information.
  • Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in the candidate being ineligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with radar system simulation and modeling tools, such as MATLAB or Simulink.
  • Experience with programming languages, such as C++, Python, or Java.
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
