The Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) at PCP Urgent Care Holdings LLC is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, as prescribed by physicians.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Operate radiologic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure factors, such as time and distance.
- Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
- Evaluate radiographic images for technical quality, ensuring clarity and accuracy for diagnostic purposes.
