Job description

About this Job GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Lallie Kemp Regional Medical Center is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our team located in the Radiology Department. Job Duties: Perform routine x-ray imaging services, during the shifts assigned, to include portable, C-Arm Surgery procedures and one or more specialized modalities such as CT, MRI or Mammography, as allowed through the scope of their license/credentials. Provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.

Differentiates between film, CR, and DR imaging formats and adjusts techniques accordingly. Review images to ensure accurate positioning and quality technique. Performs general image handling duties including processing of digital images and merging images.

Maintains stock and supplies in designated area. Assists the physician as required. Position-Specific Details: About this job: This is a PRN position.

Incumbent must possess a current BLS from American Heart Association. Work Location: This Technologist position is located in the Radiology Department . Work Hours: Applicant is subject to work evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Pay Details: Technologist - Starting Salary is $28.00 per hour + Shift Diffs. Radiologic Technologist- PRN vacancies in the Radiology Department also receive up to an additional $3 per hour actually worked for active certifications the applicant possesses.
