Physical Requirements
This position requires intermittently lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to or over 50 pounds; sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and/or performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing). Also involves some risk of injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; and exposure to loud noises, radiation, cuts/punctures, blood-borne/airborne pathogens, and combative/violent people.

Job Summary
The Rad Tech Educator will have primary responsibility for providing all on boarding and educational needs for all the rad techs in Interventional Radiology and the Cardiac Cath Lab. The goal of this position is to be the clinical expert and educator for the interventional procedural areas in regard to Radiologic Technologist and any rad tech support or assistant positions.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to effectively organize and present information for educational purposes is preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field preferred. Candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cath Lab, and/or Interventional Radiology. Preferred credentials: Registered Radiologic Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist RT-(CI), Radiologic Vascular Interventional Certified RT, (VI)
