Job Description

Looking for a rock star Systems Engineer with 7+ yrs. who can deploy new systems with or without direct support or guidance. This position will require heavy international travel so a valid passport is required.

Qualifications

Must have experience:

  • Candidate must have Expert level knowledge of vSphere/ESXi (5.5 & up) working in a large cluster with multiple remote locations
  • Candidate must have Expert level knowledge Active Directory working in a large domain with multiple sites
  • Candidate needs to have experience doing automation and deployment scripts preferably using PowerShell or Perl
  • Must be able to configure, troubleshoot and diagnose vSAN architecture
  • Deployment of Windows 2012 R2 in VMware environment
  • Understands AD Integrated DNS architecture
  • VMware ESXi deployment (Large environment)
  • VMware hosts joining to Vcenter server
  • Rack, stack and configure Infrastructure hardware
  • Basic cabling and network connectivity
  • Understands SAN and VSAN concept and able to connect VSAN with Servers (preferably NetApp)
    • Understands LUNs and Storage in depth
  • Strong technical documentation skills

Nice to have:

  • Worked with SCCM
  • Tuning and optimization for ESX and Active Directory
  • Understands RODC means and can deploy (Read only Domain controller)
  • Experience with Dell hardware (servers, desktops and laptops)
  • Red Hat Linux server deployment, Extensive IP and connectivity knowledge
  • Love for gaming
