We are seeking a highly motivated PhD to join our team working at Agentic AI research. You will collaborate closely with a team of AI researchers and engineers, contribute to system design and experimentation, and help shape the future of automated software development for enterprise applications.
Job Description
The candidate will work on:
  • Research Multi-AI Agents systems
  • Build and evaluate world models for AI agents in enterprise applications.
  • Train both domain-specific and general domain models.
  • Improve agent performance with and without world models.
  • Deliver reproducible results, with the goal of submitting a publication to a top AI conference.

Qualifications
  • At least 3 publications as the first author appearing in top AI conferences of past 3 years.
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanic Engineering Mathematics, or Physics with some research background in the area of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, or software engineering.
  • Research experience with LLMs, agentic tool use, agentic memory, and agentic post-training.
  • Strong publication record demonstrated by accepted or published research papers in high-quality AI/ML conferences and/ or journals.

Fujitsu salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $167,300 to $250,900 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
