Description
Rack & Riddle Custom Wine Services, the #1 custom sparkling wine producer in the United States, is seeking to add a Materials Handler to our team.
Material Handlers will handle riddling racks (full and empty) as well as scanning inventory for tracking in our MRP systems.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Operation of a standard sit down forklift.
  • Operate all material handling equipment provided by company.
  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles.
  • Secure customer shipments for rail, ocean, and over-the road transport, properly arranging inventory and dunnage to secure load and balance weight.
  • Move goods and stacked pallets/crates throughout production, warehouse, shipping/receiving areas.
  • Stacking goods 3-5 crates high into correct storage areas (empty and full).
  • Performing daily equipment checks and minor maintenance such as fueling, charging, and washing.
  • Adherence to warehouse organization standards and procedures.
  • Maintain clean, dry, organized warehouses at all times.
  • Consolidate, Receive and Dispatch goods and products are instructed by clients and warehouse management.
  • Use computer software to locate orders.
  • Read and understands work order instructions.
  • Complete work orders and other paperwork as needed.
  • Use Bills of Lading to ship/receive goods and products.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all products using WMS.
  • Other tasks, as assigned by Management.
