SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for an RF Technician to support system integration and test execution across both laboratory and field environments. This role will assist in the setup, testing, and evaluation of RF systems in support of program requirements.
 
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Support integration and test execution across lab and field environments.
  • Assist with setup, configuration, and operation of RF and related test equipment.
  • Support CONUS and OCONUS travel for field testing and system deployment activities.
  • Collect, analyze, and document test data to support system performance evaluation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test reports, procedures, and system-level training materials.
 
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Five (5)+ years of progressive experience supporting production, integration, installation, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of electronic systems or equipment.
  • Working knowledge of RF systems, theory, and operations.
  • Experience with Linux system administration (e.g., drive mounting, permissions, RAID configuration, basic system management).
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, network infrastructure, or integrated systems.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred: RF, RDT&E, Engineering Technician roles, Cryptologic Technician (CTM), or SIGINT environments.
 
 
The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following: Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate’s suitability for the position.
 
Position Salary Range: $58,000 - $82,000. The listed salary range represents the typical range for this position. WR bases the offered salary on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, knowledge, and skills, scope and responsibilities of the position, and market and business considerations.
