Your Job
Phillips Medisize, a Molex Company, is an end-to-end provider of innovation, development, and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device industries. Our Hudson, Wisconsin location is seeking a Quality Technician to support manufacturing of injection molded parts and assembly.
Shift: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:00pm with flexibility to cover 1st and 2nd shift as needed

The leading task of quality control involves enforcing the use of specified processes and materials, ensuring the qualification of operators and equipment, and making a series of planned measurements to determine if quality standards are being met.
What You Will Do
  • Perform receiving inspections per work instructions & inspection plans, document results, and make usage decisions
  • Complete dimensional, visual, and functional lot release on outgoing product in accordance with sampling plans
  • Take action in accordance with documented procedures when potential quality problems are identified
  • Utilize SAP to prepare appropriate inspection records and to document quality decisions
  • Perform environmental sampling analysis
  • Operate precision measuring instruments in accordance with approved procedures
  • Coordinate, perform and maintain calibration procedures
  • Complete capability studies and gauge R&R analysis
  • Interpret visual/dimensional drawings/artwork and quality criteria

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • 2 + year e xperience in operations and/or quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong computer skills (preferred skills in Microsoft Suite & SAP)

What Will Put You Ahead
  • 1+ year in quality assurance, in a regulated industry (Manufacturing, Food, Medical , Pharma, etc.)
  • D emonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills .
  • Ability to understand sampling plans and operation of inspection instruments.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous experience using SAP.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and/or FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements
  • Previous experience using precision measuring instruments (analytical balance, micrometer, Micro-Vu, etc.)
