Key Account Manager-Brokerage Services

Position Summary:

The LTL & Truckload Brokerage SR serves as the crucial link between shippers (customers) and carriers, managing the entire lifecycle of Less Than Truckload (LTL) and Full Truckload (FTL) shipments to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery, requiring excellent communication, multitasking, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer & Carrier Communication:ย Handle high volumes of inbound/outbound calls, emails, and EDI to enter orders, provide updates, and resolve issues for both customers and carriers.
  • ** Order Managementย :** Accurately process, schedule, and monitor LTL and Truckload shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
  • Rate Negotiationย & Quoting: Provide competitive quotes, negotiate rates with carriers, and find cost-effective solutions for customers.
  • Shipment Trackingย :ย Monitor freight in transit, provide real-time tracking, and proactively communicate status updates.
  • Documentation:ย Prepare and process essential documents, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), and upload shipping paperwork.
  • Relationship Building:ย Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and carrier partners.
  • Problem Solving:ย Address and resolve service failures, discrepancies (Over, Short, Damaged - OS&D), and complex logistics challenges.
