QuikCut is seeking experienced Press Brake Operators to join our fabrication teams at both our Columbia City, Indiana and Fort Wayne, Indiana locations. What You'll Do

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal parts according to work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications.
  • Select the proper tooling and perform machine setup and calibration for each production run.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate part production.
  • Inspect completed parts to verify dimensions, quality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment inspections.
  • Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or production challenges promptly.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • 1โ€“2 years of experience operating a press brake, CNC brake press, or similar metal fabrication equipment preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or sheet metal environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 75 pounds.

Shift Opportunities

  • 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM-2:30 AM; $3.00 per hour shift premium
  • Weekend Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:30 AM-5:30 PM; $3.00 per hour shift premium; work 36 hours and be paid for 40 hours!
